Still life Pastels 
 

​The act of focusing and really 'seeing' it elevates the most humble object. The drawing gives it status and meaning, imbues it with a greater significance and sometimes symbolic presence. 

The luscious qualities of the fruit and materials are captured by my use of soft pastels that allow me to blend colour subtly and in layers
